1001 Dad Jokes

[Full] Disclosure Policy

Yep, we like to joke around. But, well, the Feds need us to get serious. The goal of our "lifestyle brand" (picture the dadbod version of Kim Kardashian or your favorite Insta-famous celebrity) is to give you a little chuckle. That's it. Well, and to earn a little cash to keep the lights on and refill our Starbucks card (no link there, honest!).

Anywho, the content you see on our site and across our mighty social media empire upon which the sun never sets, is free for readers. But, it takes a considerable amount of blood, sweat, and tears. So, we use affiliate links (which cost nothing to you!) for a little compensation.

What are affiliate links?

No, no. You won't have to buy any scented oils, juices, or makeup. And, no. We're not going to try to be your life coach... or empower you to be one so you can coach others to coach others.

Basically, it's just a link that tracks where you came from and gives us a little kickback. Kind of like almost every other link on the web and social that aggregates your life in a data warehouse in Utah so admen (and women) in New York or Chicago can sell it back to Target or Proctor & Gamble and give you those targeted ads from Siri or Alexa.

We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.

The Products

So, where are these links actually going? What do we hope you'll buy? If you've been following, we're all about dad jokes... and we have a lot of them. And... you can buy our books on Amazon!

Okay, that's a no brainer, why the disclaimer? Well, because we have to by law. Disclaimers like these are intended for bossbabe, techbro, airline miles, etc blogs that have informational posts with links to their reviewed products. Sites with reviews are supposed to be neutral, presenting helpful, unbiased info. That's not us. We don't claim to be neutral and we're not reviewing a bunch of books (or products or services). We're biased. We just hope you'll buy (and enjoy) ours :).
